About Us

At the age of 14, Zoey has already spent several years volunteering with numerous environmental groups.  What started as a way to gain hours for NHJS quickly became a passion.  Zoey loved the sense of pride in knowing she was making a difference in the community and environment.  People would frequently ask her how they could help too and one day during a hole patrol the idea of Coastal Crusaders was born.  Coastal Crusaders is a non-profit organization founded by a passionate 14-year-old setting out to help the community and environment through many different levels of volunteer work. To engage others to jump on board and become environmental stewards as well. Whether it's picking up trash from the beach, cleaning debris from a watergoat, clearing storm drains, or planting trees in a park, Coastal Crusaders’ mission is to make our world a better place to live.
